Tee Time View Button

Touching the tee time view "Final Score" button presents sendable statistics of the round scoring results. Holes with a score of 0 are not included.

Handicap?

GolfBUD is not an affiliate of USGA. Only a USGA affiliate can issue a tournament handicap. However GolfBUD does calculate an index proxy based on your ten most recent rounds. Maintain at least 10 rounds of golf on your GolfBUD course table to view the proxy on your tee log.

The Handicap Proxy

Once ten rounds of golf are stored on GolfBUD, a score will appear next to the tee handicap value of the tee log screen. This value is .95*Avg of 10 rounds, where the Avg of 10 rounds = .1*(Your Round Score - Course Rating)(113/Course Slope Rating).

Why .95?

An official handicap comes from choosing your best rounds out of your most recent twenty. Because GolfBUD uses your last ten rounds, and not the best ten out of twenty, GolfBUD adjusts down by .01.

Action Menu Item

Send your scorecard and game stats. If you have a Facebook or other social media account an option to post to those accounts will appear next to the "Message" and "Mail" icons based on your iOS settings.

The Short Game

Touch "Approach"

The "On The Green" label is a button. Press it to see, "On The Green" stats. Percentage scoring placements are given based on all of the tee log data stored on GolfBUD.

The "Approach" Statistics

These statistics are cumulative. If you have one hole played and recorded on GolfBUD and scored a par for that hole. Your par percentage will be 100%. If you placed "DNF" the score placement values will all be 0.

Tee Shot statistics are separated by par grouping. Pressing "Got It" dismisses the box.
